EOMS Dominican - Haiti Team 2012

Christmas is just days away. I wake up every morning and the first thing on my mind seems to be Haiti. Not presents or cleaning or menu planning, although I have plenty to do in the next two days. I simply wake up in prayer. I am in prayer that things will settle down with Haiti's government, and that somehow they will get a handle on the Cholera epidemic. The countdown is 4 months until we leave. I pray daily for the people we will serve, and for our team. For safety and health for us and the people we will be helping. The fund raising is in full swing. This is about a $9,000.00 project and the last I heard, we were at about $5,000.00. I know God will provide, still I pray for the funding of the water systems and piping, tanks, batteries and structures to be built. I pray that we will find a safe place to pitch our tents and that we will be able to get through customs with our food and supplies. I just pray. Thanks God for everything.
